A Vision for an Integration Centre in Gothenburg

TO BE COMPLETED BY 02/18

- Selection of an infill site. A plan and short description of the plot as according to stadsbyggnadskontorets recommendation (or anybody elses suggestion for that matter).

- A program for the building. This is based on the size of the plot and an inventory of the Migration Board’s premises in Kållered (visit on wednesday). It includes residential and public functions.

- A short account of yesterdays interview with a well integrated refugee.
- A short account of monday’s interview with “groundfloor” employees at migrationsverket.
- A short account of the meeting with flyktingguide.se on tuesday in Angered
- A short account of meeting with HBT responsible at Migrationsverket on wednesday.

- A READ THIS FIRST document where all questions of intent that arise are registered and answered clearly. This is a working document (just like all) but will avoid excessive repetition of discussions that arise from the sensitive nature of the subject, the general lack of knowledge, general lack of understanding and my absolute lack of authority in the subject.

- Six sketches that illustrate and answer, through three alternatives to each, two fundamental questions as posed by the program.

- Three concept options! ;)


NOT TO BE EXPECTED BY 02/18

- A mock-up layout of the final boards.

- A site analysis to argue for the choice of site.

- More than a hint of social situations that may arise illustrating romantic moments of integration or social exchange.
